The Boatshed

A makeover for an existing ‘boatshed’ by the water’s edge.

Two crucial elements to the site of this building:

• The obvious connection to the waterfront

• The often forgotten connection to the trees and the gully behind

The diagonal roof restores the connection to the landscape to the rear, opening up to allow view of the canopy, while lowering toward the front to frame the water views.
